Honesty

We say what's true, including about ourselves — our doubts, failures, and how far we are from what we preach.

Depth

We believe in substance over show. Good theology, real preaching, and community that goes beyond the surface.

Generosity

We give — money, time, attention, grace. Generosity is the posture that shapes everything we do.

Belonging

You belong here before you believe. We're not a club you earn your way into. We're a family you walk into.

Sent

We exist for the city, not ourselves. Every member is a missionary where they live, work, and play.

Becoming

Nobody has arrived. We're all in process — and that's not a problem. It's the point.

Core Beliefs

What we
hold to be true.

Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God — the final standard for faith and life.
God
We believe in one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — three persons, one essence, eternally existing.
Jesus
We believe Jesus is fully God and fully human — born of a virgin, crucified for sin, raised bodily, and coming again.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace through faith alone, not by works. Anyone who trusts in Christ is saved and secure.
The Church
We believe the local church is God's primary strategy for the world — gathered, sent, and accountable to one another.
The Kingdom
We believe the Kingdom of God is here and coming — already breaking in, not yet fully arrived. We live in that tension with hope.
Our Story

Started small.
Staying faithful.

Vision Church was planted in 2014 by David and Anna Mullins in a living room in East Nashville. Twelve people showed up that first Sunday. The goal wasn’t to grow fast — it was to grow faithfully.

By 2017, Vision had outgrown two rented spaces and moved into its first permanent home downtown. The Westside campus opened in 2020, and the Online campus formalized in 2021 as a permanent fixture, not just a pandemic substitute.

Today over 1,200 people call Vision home across three campuses. The church has remained independent, elder-led, and committed to the same convictions it started with.

062021 — Online campus becomes permanent
